Finding a good clean public restroom is nearly impossible, but if you find yourself near E 68th and Lexington you are in luck! The public bathrooms at Hunter College are clean and always have toilet paper. You don't even need a college ID to enter.

Fishing Field Trip

Capt Lou VI has been around since 1948 and is located in Central Nassau County, a mere 5 minute cab ride from the Freeport train stop. They offer two fishing excursions daily (8am-noon or 1-5pm) on the waters of the Great South Bay and the Atlantic Ocean (aka Freeport's Nautical Mile).

It's $37 per person and includes bait and tackle! Plus, they clean the fish for you before you leave the boat so your dinner is halfway ready. The person who catches the biggest fish wins the pool so you may even walk home with some extra cash. Bon Voyage and Bon Appetite.

We love anything that combines two of our favorite things - wine and chocolate, but Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar (11 W 31st St) scores extra points because of its great vibe, good music and gourmet chocolate in different shapes and flavors. Plus. they have a full dinner menu, cheese plates, and outdoor seating. Score all around!
