It's Already On Your To-Do List...

R and B's pick:

The Roosevelt Island Tram holds up to 125 people, makes approximately 115 trips per day, and at its peak climbs to 250 feet above the East River! It runs from 6:00am-2:30am (3:30am on weekends) and you can use your MetroCard for the commute (we were most shocked by this last fact since it is not run by the MTA).

We recommend having an early dinner at Serendipity (225 E 60th St) to beat the restaurant crowd before hopping on the tram to explore the island. Get the Lemon Ice Box Pie for dessert. Serendipity's website has a rolling ticker of celebrity gossip featuring who ate there, when they visited, and what they ordered. Hilarious!
