Ride a Bike

MS's pick:

Peddle along the Hudson...ride over the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset...take the bike to Prospect Park.

While there is so much ground to cover, you could start by riding the 32-mile Manhattan Waterfront Greenway which is almost always physically separated from cars. Many sections even separate pedestrians from cyclists.

Don't own a bike? No excuse! Rent one from one of these great places all over Manhattan.

  1. Bike up to Indian River Cafe (600 W 218th St) for amazing cappuccinos and breakfast too.
