EM's pick:
Pata Negra (345 E 12th St b/w 1-2 Aves) like the usual wine and tapas bar has great sangria, delicious Marcona almonds & spiced olives, and an amazing cheese selection from Murray's. Yet this place stands out because of it's bacon delicacy (pata negra), also known as jamon iberico de bellota, is a free-range pig that feeds on acorns in forests along the borders of Spain and Portugal. Priced at around $100/lb., it is the most expensive ham in the world. It taste like a prosciutto but has a distinct flavor.
The wine menu is also great and the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful.
