South Street Seaport - It's Not Just for Tourists

We recently rediscovered the neighborhood when we considered moving into one of the newly developed complexes on a quaint cobblestone street with scenic views of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Our two favorite restaurants are Quartino and Barbarini, both Italian with outdoor seating. Barbarini has a store at the entrance with fresh and creative Italian delicacies that you must explore before heading home.

The Bodies exhibit is still up, so if you haven't gone yet - go now!

Take some time to explore the neighborhood, wander into the little shops and grab a coffee at a Jack's. Plus, there's always street performers or live music going on.
