Naka Naka
For amazing Japanese and sushi check out tiny little gem Naka Naka (458 W 17th St, nr 10th Ave). We prefer to sit at the table, rather than the communal area, so make a reservation in advance. Take home one of the amazing origami pieces that can be found all over the restuarnat - it makes a great souvenier!
This summer I celebrated my 10th anniversary in the city. I've worked only at non-profits, always lived in Manhattan, and promised myself that as long as I pay insane rent I'll take advantage of all that the city has to offer. My friends are journalists, artists, museum workers, website owners, finance folks, makeup artists, dancers, teachers, and entrepreneurs. We share many things in common but our love for the city will always unite. Grab a friend and go live the city, explore our favorite hidden treasures, and always stay...a-muse-d.
